Zoë's legal career spans various roles, each contributing to her comprehensive understanding of the law and dedication to serving her clients. Most recently, she served as an Associate Attorney at a Family Law firm, where she adeptly represented clients in diverse matters such as divorce, custody, orders of protection, and estate planning cases. Prior to this, Zoë served as an Assistant State's Attorney at the Peoria County State's Attorney’s Office and the DeKalb County State's Attorney's Office, where she prosecuted misdemeanor and felony domestic violence cases, honing her trial skills and advocacy for justice.
Zoë pursued her legal education at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in December 2019. During her time at Chicago-Kent, Zoë distinguished herself by receiving the prestigious Fleischman Family Award for Excellence in Criminal Defense Clinic and participating in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Prior to her law degree, Zoë obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Criminology, Law & Society from the University of Florida, where her doctoral dissertation focused on Human Intelligence Interviewing with the Scharff Technique. She also holds a Master of Arts in Criminology, Law & Society from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Science Honors in Psychology from the University of Calgary.
